Hydration, hydration, hydration!
It’s so important to drink plenty of water! I can’t say it often enough to clients, family and friends. It is one of the easiest and simplest tips to take on. Of course, using a filter is important to remove any possible impurities in the water. Drinking more water is a key ingredient to glowing, fresh looking skin.
Why do I use a filter?
- Filtering your own water means you’re not relying on bought water in plastic bottles. It is simple to implement at home either with a filter on your tap or a pitcher with a filter such as Brita or such like brands. I like to think it helps reduce my environmental impact.
- I find that filtered water tastes better and reduces the odour it can have sometimes. You know that chlorine smell that you can sometimes have.
- After the initial investment of buying a filter and the nominal cost of replacement filters over time it works out as a cheaper alternative to bottled water. This again reduces my environmental impact. I have a Brita filter water bottle that I use at work rather buying bottles of water.
- Drinking water means that you are helping your body flush out toxins which can only be a positive.
Hydration is a very quick and easy solution to improving your body, mind, and skin.
